WEST FARGO — Job Service North Dakota will offer onsite walk-in services at the West Fargo Public Library starting Wednesday, July 13.

Job Service ND staff will be at the library to offer one-on-one assistance from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. Services offered will include job seeking assistance, veteran’s services, information on training programs, resume building assistance, limited unemployment insurance assistance and migrant and seasonal farmworker services.

“We are excited to partner with Job Service ND to make these important services more accessible to the West Fargo community,” West Fargo Library Adult Services Manager Kirsten Henagin said in a statement.

Technology Tutoring is another one-on-one service the library provides. Volunteers and library staff are available by appointment to assist with topics like: basic computer, tablet, smartphone or eReader skills; internet and browser skills; using email and social media and more. Members of the public can make an appointment for technology tutoring at westfargolibrary.org or by calling the library at 701-515-5200. No appointments are necessary for Job Service ND services.

“We aim to improve the quality of life for West Fargo residents of all ages,” Henagin said. “Whether that means helping someone find a book, land a job or learn how to use their new phone, we are always happy to help or point them in the right direction.”
